We live in such a crazy world right now. That’s wild when you think about it. This new normal would look like a dystopian future to our old self from 3 years ago. Imagine telling him/her the world will be soon hit by a pandemic and everyone will be forced to get vaccinated under the false pretense of protecting others and need a vaccine pass to enjoy a “normal life” and be able to work to make a living, while the world would close every few months because media and governments would spread fear and perpetually lie to us, then change the narrative as they see fit without really taking care of the problems. It’s not that difficult to invest in the fucking health care system, and make reforms to support and make it easier for medical workers, goddamnit. It’s been 2 fucking years… And remember when some scientists said even vaccinated people could transmit the virus and they were cancelled and called anti-vaxxer assholes, and mainstream media said there were only a few exceptions called “breakthrough cases”…
I’m not here to argue. I’m pretty moderate and open-minded but also critical and used to question things. And we have to acknowledge how fucking crazy this situation is. The problem is the incompetence of our leadership. We live in a fear porn era. It’s also a good way to avoid taking care of real issues: the inflation soaring, the housing market prices going up, the quality of life deteriorating with no end in sight, climate change, the supply chain shortage, overpopulation, insecurity, social unrest and chaos.
The next five years don’t look so bright to me. These assholes — the politicians — were talking about a hypothetical golden age and magical economic recovery after the covid-19 pandemic… Didn’t really happen or last long… Don’t listen to the politicians, always listen to the economists, the apolitical economists stating facts only, they tend to say the opposite of what the mainstream media are puking all day long. They warned us about a financial crisis potentially happening around 2021. Covid-19 is just a scapegoat.
Anyway, there are opportunities to make money in times of crisis, but all these uncertainties made me wonder, what the fuck is going to hit us once we’ll actually start to “live with covid”?
World War 3? China invading Taiwan? Russia invading Ukraine? A conflict with North Korea? A huge natural disaster? Some terrorist attacks on European soil? Social unrest in the West? Assassination of a president? A new pandemic with a virus truly deadly this time? The arrival of aliens? I worry we are slowly drifting toward a falsely democratic, 100% authoritarian, social credit score system, á la Chinese, except we’ll get fucked with lubricant under the false pretense this is for our own good and that’ll make our life easier.
